Wild West Football League By Laws and Rules

1 ) League fees:     We do not have any!
     A: You pay $110 for your field fee to the City of Las Vegas. All fees must be paid by Feb.27
     B: Championship Trophy cost: Each team will pay a $25 fee to go for championship trophy
     C: Each team must have proof of insurance for their team, that is with Katy insurance the cost       is $300 for the year

2) New teams coming in to League:
New teams that wish to play in the Wild West Football League . Teams shall gain acceptance into the league by a majority vote from all owners . A new team will not have any rights on league issues, until they are officially admitted into the league. New teams can request entrance into the league and admittance will be accepted provided:
      A) They agree to abide by all by- laws of the WWFL.
      B) The new team admittance is accepted by the majority vote of all existing WWFL teams

3) No existing team may be suspended from the league unless:
     A) they violate one of the existing WWFL by-Laws
     B) if there is a violation of one of the by-laws all other teams will submit 1 vote and the   violating team will be expelled only by a 2/3 majority vote.

4) Forfeits in WWFL will be avoided, if at all possible!   In the event for some reason, a team is unable to field a full team for a regular scheduled WWFL game every effort should be made to contact the opposing team and the league as soon as possible. Unless there has been a catastrophic event ,a fine will be imposed on the forfeiting team.
      A) The first instance $500
      B) The second instance $1000
      C) The third instance expulsion from league
      D) All fines to be paid before the next schedule game

5) Players and rosters:
     A) Players can not move once the season starts. A player can not leave one team and go to another team in the same season, the player must to wait until the next season.
     B) Teams rosters are limited to 60 players
     C) You have up to the third game to add players
     D) All rosters must be turn in to coach Kelly after the third game with pictures.

6) Fighting:
     A) Fighting and unsportsman like conduct will not be tolerated. Any player involved in a fight or acts of unsportsman like conduct will be subject to suspension from the league

7) Normal ejection personal foul:
     A) Penalty one full game
     B) League review
     C) Expulsion from the league
     D) Any players or coaches that have an abusive action against other coaches, spectators, players or officials will be kick out of the league.

8) NFL RULES: We are going by NFL rules with the exception there is no chop blocking. All players have jobs and have to go to work we need to keep our league clean.

9) UNIFORMS: Each team will have a defined uniform and a defined team color. Each player is required to have matching jerseys pants, helmet color, decals and matching uniforms. Players that do not match will not play.

10) Playoffs:
     A) Playoffs will be a 1-8 format seeding
     B) Teams will be seeded according to best overall record, win –loss percentage
     C) In the event of a tie:
          a) The first tie breaker used will be head to head competition.
          b) If there is still a tie the fewest points allowed

11) The WWFL will have a all star team. The all star team will play other leagues all star teams. Six players will be pick from each team for the all star team and the cost for each player on the all star team will be $40, for jersey and game fees.
